Plain-English terms for the text messages we send about your support tickets. Short version: we text you about your support tickets only if you say yes on the phone, and you can stop anytime.
Tech Medics Support Alerts
Operated by Tech Medics LLC. We send transactional customer-care texts about support tickets to the store owners, managers and staff of our business customers who contact our support line and agree to receive them: ticket confirmations, questions about the request (for example, which store location it is for), and status updates when a visit is scheduled, when a technician is on the way, and when the ticket is resolved. You can reply to add details to your ticket. We do not send marketing messages.
By phone — say yes on the call
You opt in by phone. When you call the Tech Medics support line at (207) 222-7750, our phone assistant asks whether it may text your ticket number and updates to the number you are calling from, and explains message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply HELP or STOP. We only text you if you say yes. Opting in to texts is not required to receive support. We do not offer web-form or text-to-join sign-up.
Usually 1–5 messages per ticket
Message frequency varies with your support activity, usually 1–5 messages per support ticket you open.
No charge from us
Message and data rates may apply. Tech Medics does not charge for these messages; standard carrier rates apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to sign up again.
